Enforce Tac 24: HOLOSUN illuminates the night

At Enforce Tac, HOLOSUN presented its contribution to night combat capability. First of all, a classic white light called RAID. Secondly, their new Laserbox IRIS.

RAID is a weapon light for long guns. With a good 1,000 lumens and 80,000 candela, so very bright.

It includes a Picatinny and M-Lok mounting, and as we understand it, the hole pattern is compatible with SUREFIRE Scout Lights. The battery can be charged via the side contact at the rear end.

RAID comes with a classic pressure switch. Press firmly for constant light and hold lightly for momentary light. The pressure resistance is very useful.

RAID also comes with a cable switch cap. This is equipped with a "Surefire" plug, so other switches can be used if desired.

But the included cable switch is already very well done. Very small and light, so no need to get an extra mod button.

Night combat means using night vision devices, and IR lasers are necessary to aim well with them. From HOLOSUN comes a new laser box called IRIS. You can see, it has the footprint of a classic business card and is extremely light.

At the front, you will find a visible laser, either green or red, an infrared (IR) target laser, and an IR illuminator. All in one coaxial package. Unfortunately, we cannot show you the IR lasers as they simply wouldn't let us. The argument was that they are still pre-production models that do not yet fully utilize their power.

The IRIS mounting on the rail is done through clamping. A very appreciated solution.

At the back, there are the power selector switch (left), the mode selection button (middle), and the control input for a "Crane" plug, for cable switches. The entire layout is not final yet, because it's a pre-production model.

At the top there is the trigger button and a slider for the beam width of the IR Illuminator. Overall, HOLOSUN is providing an NGAL with IRIS for everyone. We are looking forward to the final model. The new products from HOLOSUN are expected to be available in the US by mid-year.
