The Enforce Tac, which took place on March 2nd and 3rd, 2016 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, concluded with an overall positive balance: The fifth edition of the annual international trade fair for leadership and operational equipment for security forces was able to achieve a significant increase this year with 152 exhibitors* and 2,759 professional visitors* and conference participants from 65 countries (2015: 123 and 2,069 / 53). Leading exhibitor countries were Germany, USA, Italy, and Austria.
"Since its premiere as an independent trade fair in 2012, Enforce Tac has almost become a fixed institution in security circles and enjoys increasing popularity," stated the patron of the event, the Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, Building and Transport, Joachim Herrmann, Member of the State Parliament. "Therefore, I would like to express my special thanks to everyone who has contributed to making Enforce Tac in Nuremberg a real success story in recent years. The impulses emanating from here are a valuable contribution to the security in our country," Herrmann continued. The Minister emphasized the high importance of internal security and the internationally renowned reputation of crime prevention in the Free State of Bavaria. "For the professional work of our police and other security authorities, the equipment with modern and technically high-quality equipment is an essential prerequisite. That is why we invest specifically in state-of-the-art technology - for us, professional equipment is essential for professional police work."
The exhibitors at Enforce Tac in Nuremberg presented a wide range of latest developments concerning law enforcement weapons and ammunition, ballistic accessories, optics and optronics, IT, electronics and communication, vehicle technology, medical first aid, as well as tactical equipment and operational clothing for security experts from the police, judiciary, customs, and armed forces. Parallel to the exhibition, the European Police Trainer Conference (EPTK) took place again this year. The two-day combination of lectures and professional training provides current operational know-how for members of security forces and organizations. For the execution of EPTK, PiD - Police Trainers in Germany e. V. cooperates with NürnbergMesse.
