ENFORCE TAC 24: RHEINMETALL for armed forces and security forces

The security trade fair ENFORCE TAC will be open this year from February 26th to 28th, 2024 in Nuremberg. Once again, RHEINMETALL AG is a strong partner for defense and security forces on site.

The Düsseldorf-based technology company will present users, procurers, and other trade visitors with some news and other elements of the tactical portfolio from the Vehicle Systems, Weapon and Ammunition, and Electronic Solutions divisions. The news includes:

Ballistic Body Protection

– For the first time, RHEINMETALL will be showcasing itself at Enforce Tac 2024 as a complete systems provider for ballistic body protection equipment. On display will be a new protective vest system in protection class VPAM7, a protected warning vest developed for traffic services, and a modular protective vest for special forces.

Laser/Laser Light Modules

– The laser light module LLM-PTAL developed for pistols and the modular laser module MTAL Venom designed especially for assault rifles will make their debut at Enforce Tac 2024.

Personal Position Marking and Warning System

– The Functional Protection System Beacon (FPS-Beacon) allows for visible, non-visible, and thermal position marking and alerts in danger situations and when detected by lasers. Soldier System Gladius Light – a version of the Gladius 2.0 soldier system tailored for special forces.

Rapid Obscuring System ROSY

– The proven Rapid Obscuring System ROSY protects land, air, and sea vehicles even in motion by creating a spontaneous fog screen. At ENFORCE TAC 2024, the ROSY_L variant will be showcased on the weapon station Fieldranger of the protected special vehicle Survivor R and on the airborne vehicle Caracal.

Caracal

– Together with Mercedes-Benz and ACS Armoured Car Systems, RHEINMETALL offers a versatile, strong, fast, and compact 4x4 vehicle family for light forces such as airborne or special operations forces.

Survivor R

– The highly mobile, well-protected, and versatile Survivor R is a special vehicle for security forces. Based on the 4x4 MAN chassis, it was developed in cooperation with the special vehicle manufacturer Achleitner. The Survivor R has been selected by the Federal Police and the riot police units of the states as the next generation special vehicle.

Squad Support Weapon SSW40

– The world's first automatic, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired grenade launcher for 40mm ammunition. The weight, dimensions, and handling of the SSW40 are similar to assault rifles.

Pyrotechnic Special Operations Equipment

– RHEINMETALL offers various pyrotechnic special operations equipment, including the flash-bang grenades 9-Bang and the rectangular Spectac, both equipped with Bottom Top Venting technology for maximum safety.

Paramir

– The lightweight and compact hand-fired signal rocket is available as a flare rocket in various colors and infrared, as well as a smoke trail and NBC signal. It reaches a height of about 100 meters and illuminates for about 15 seconds.
