Energy in the field - Supply systems of PTX

10/30/2018By Redaktion

Unmanned aerial and ground vehicles play an increasingly important role in police and military operations. However, a major difficulty in operating such devices in remote areas is the lack of power supply.

The power supply systems from PTX make it possible to draw energy from virtually any imaginable source – car batteries, solar panels, generators, etc. This allows drones, control stations, and communication devices to be charged practically anywhere.

With PTX, energy transfer does not only work in one direction. The batteries of the drones themselves can also be used as a power source for other devices. This greatly simplifies energy management within a team.

PTX currently provides supply solutions for the following systems:

• Aeryon Labs R60 SkyRanger®
• AeroVironment RQ-11B Raven
• Endeavor Robotics FirstLook®, PackBot®, and SUGV
• Any system equipped with standard batteries
