EKO Cobra wins international competition

At the 9th Special Forces Workshop for Special Forces in Germany from July 24 to 27, 2017, the team of the Cobra Commando won first place. A total of 44 special units participated in the competition. Above in the picture, Cobra personnel with the MCX in .300 Blackout and with a suppressor.

The specialists of the EKO Cobra also won in the "Beretta Extra Challenge" and in the individual ranking. A second Cobra team landed in 19th place.

During the special forces competition, six stations had to be completed, with minor details given for four stations. Two stations were known. In the Beretta Extra Challenge, shooting was done with a Beretta assault rifle and submachine gun as well as with the Glock. This course, set up like an obstacle course with shooting stations, could be seen by all participants and was familiar.

In the category "Police Units," the team from the Lower Austria State Police Directorate placed third out of a total of 14 teams. The competition was attended by 44 special units and 14 police teams from Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Monaco, Germany, and Austria.
