Kalashnikov's new SVCh-308 Chukavin rifle is practically the new successor to the Dragunov. Equipped with modern accessories, it is being developed in collaboration with Russian snipers from various special forces. A folding stock, polymer handguard, and Picatinny rail allow for a variety of accessories. Recently, there have been fresh photos of the rifle as President Putin took the opportunity to test it himself. He fired five shots at a target 600 meters away, and hit – at least – three times.
