The Budget Committee has approved the procurement of 16,041 night vision devices - so-called image intensifier glasses - as well as 8,423 related headmount systems and corresponding services. The necessary almost 162 million euros come from the special fund Bundeswehr. It is an option order for additional devices from an existing framework contract.
