The Austrian Brit

09/30/2015By Redaktion
If anyone recognizes the vehicle in the picture: the Scout SV by General Dynamics will be introduced into the British Army with 589 units between 2017 and 2024, replacing the Scimitar. It will then serve under the name "Ajax" and is the centerpiece of a completely "new" vehicle family. The design is only partially British. The basis is the ASCOD, which is introduced in Austria under the name "Ulan." Our colleagues at the Doppeladler have HERE a great summary of the development history.
