The CHICOM from HELIKON-TEX

HELIKON-TEX brings us a new version of the iconic chest rig that can be used simply and flexibly. Its origins date back to the 1940s and it gained its greatest popularity during the Vietnam War. With the Chicom Chest Rig, you can comfortably carry your basic gear. With additional equipment, the chest rig can also be used for reconnaissance missions and is helpful in tactical exercises and shooting training.

The Chicom Chest Rig has a unique appearance and three hook-and-loop closure pockets. The covers can be removed and replaced with securing rubber bands. AK/AR magazines can be stored in the pockets of the chest rig.

On both sides, inside and outside, there are MOLLE/PALS loops on which additional pouches and much more can be attached. If needed, the three mag pockets of the Chicom can be increased to five.

Furthermore, there is the possibility to attach a first aid kit or a small pouch under the chest strap. Inside the Chicom, there is also a flat pocket equipped with a soft hook-and-loop closure.
