On October 14, 2017, the first meeting of the Deadbird Society is taking place. But what is it all about and what can visitors expect?
Secret societies, worshipping a cult, meet behind closed doors in secret locations. At least that's how it used to be. Today, it's not quite as strict. Deadbird Society is a Facebook group simply a fan group for Arc'teryx products. Through this group, experiences can be shared, advice sought, or images viewed. It was founded in 2014 and now there is also a lot of merchandise available through this group, such as patches or T-shirts. It is also worth noting that there are frequent collaborations with Arc'teryx to create limited editions with the logo, such as the patch in the title image. And for charity: profits are donated to the Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F).
Previously, the group mostly organized itself in America. But now, on October 14, 2017, a meeting is scheduled to take place at TACWRK in Berlin. It will be a casual atmosphere for grilling and drinking. A T-shirt and special edition patch are planned, as well as special offers with Arc'teryx products. Exciting, as at TACWRK there will not only be rare backpacks from the LEAF series to win soon, but also because at previous meetings Arc'teryx itself had often stopped by.
