CZ is expanding to Hungary

The Colt CZ Group is expanding its global production network for small arms. This includes the Colt CZ plant in Hungary, in which the group holds a majority stake and fully controls all production activities.

The newly established firearms factory will provide additional production capacity to meet the globally increasing demand for CZ's commercial, military, and law enforcement products. All processes are supervised by CZ specialists, recognized worldwide as experts in high-quality technology and manufacturing.

The 2018 joint venture between the Colt CZ Group and the Hungarian government will not only continue to supply the Hungarian armed forces with military CZ weapons, but also manufacture small arms for worldwide export. The investment and technology transfer from CZ in Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic includes state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, robotic technology, fully automatic turning and milling centers, and advanced surface treatments. The global production will continue to provide the same high quality, reliability, and exceptional shooting comfort that modern military personnel and shooters associate with the CZ brand.
