Custom Sniper from Range is Clear

"RangeIsClear" is the website of Markus Königsberger, an excellent IPSC shooter and recently also an employee of Professional Arms. Here he also presented the first custom project of Professional Arms, which we also want to show you because it is unusually beautiful. The "RangeIsClear Sniper Project" was based on a Remington 700 Police in .308 Winchester caliber and a 26" barrel. "As this rifle is also intended to be used for distances greater than 300m, appropriate components had to be carefully selected," reports Markus Königsberger:

The task was to customize an existing rifle according to the customer's wishes - in this case, my own. Also the question of water transfer printing has been increasingly popular lately.

Due to the long range requirement, the choice fell on the MDT system, as it already has a Picatinny rail with 20 MOA forward tilt and the Kahles K624i in conjunction with angle compensator and bubble level.

The Peterssen Gun Works (PGW) specializes in the production of custom-made muzzle brakes, which is why a Type 9 brake was included in this project. Initial accuracy tests have already impressively demonstrated the effectiveness of the brake.

The assembly of the MDT chassis turned out to be unexpectedly easy and did not pose any major problems.

A special highlight is the leaf camo pattern, which was applied through water transfer printing by www.wasserdruckdesign.at. The parts were intentionally dipped individually, not as a whole, so that the individuality of each piece can be appreciated.
