Carl Gustaf conquers America

The MAAWS Program Office of the US Army has awarded Saab a contract for the recoilless Carl-Gustaf® M4 rifles. The Carl-Gustaf rifles are also known in the U.S. Army as the Multi-Purpose Anti-Armor Anti-Personnel Weapon System (MAAWS) and M3A1. The contract includes the delivery of weapons for both the Army and the US Marine Corps. The contract is valued at 16 million USD and is awarded under an ongoing ID/IQ agreement.
