In early November, Rheinmetall handed over the first of a total of 35 driving school trucks of the type TGX 26.360 6X2-2 LL to BwFuhrparkService GmbH (BwFPS) in Oldenburg. Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH (RMMV) had already received the order to deliver the vehicles in 2016. The order value amounts to approximately 3.2 million EUR net.

The handover took place at the military driving training center. Representatives from BwFPS, the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology, and Use of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw), the head of the driving training center, and representatives from RMMV participated in the event. Furthermore, RMMV was once again selected as a framework contract partner until 2022 in October 2017.

The TGX series, from which the newly delivered vehicles originate, is based on the globally proven MAN-Trucknology Generation. These advanced commercial vehicles set standards in terms of robustness, innovation, efficiency, and performance. Having their origin in mass production, they have completed several million development kilometers. They offer excellent value for money and are well suited for both civilian and military use.
