And by that, we don't mean the curved piece of wood, but the new Russian 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle. Recently, this vehicle is also being promoted for export to other countries, but what does the Boomerang 8x8 have to offer?

The armored combat vehicle Boomerang 8x8 was developed for the Russian armed forces to replace a fleet of outdated vehicles from the BTR 8x8 family that no longer meet the requirements of modern battlefields. The platform is offered in two variants, as an armored personnel carrier (APC) and as an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). Depending on the purpose and mission, various remote-controlled or manned weapon systems can be mounted on the Boomerang 8x8. These include: a 30mm cannon with a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, a 30mm grenade launcher, two launchers with two ATGMs each, and a 12.7mm Kord machine gun (APC version). We are curious to see who will acquire some Boomerangs.
