Books & more: The Arsenal of the SEALs

Knives, pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, machine guns, explosives, ammunition, and grenades - the tools of the SEALs and their arsenal are described in the book "Weapons of the Navy SEALs" by Kevin Dockery. And not just a few, because the book, available in hardcover and paperback, has 550 pages. This is no wonder, as it includes not only all the standard weapons but also a lot of specialized equipment. Dockery does not limit himself to the current SEALs, but goes back to the predecessor organizations. The book was also created in collaboration with the UDT/SEAL Museum Association in Florida, and is more than just a book on weapons, it is a working history of the SEALs with tool descriptions. Very informative and exciting, although the photo quality could be better. But for the price, one can't really complain...

"Weapons of the Navy Seals" by Kevin Dockery was published in 2004 and is currently not available in any current edition. But on Amazon, you can also get antiquarian books. The price is around 5 euros.
