Black Hornet 4

At the 9th KSK Symposium, we had the chance to see the new Black Hornet 4 nano drone in action. In short, very impressive.

The Black Hornet 4 is almost twice the size of the really tiny Black Hornet 3, but it also offers better camera hardware.

Even the control station, which also serves as a charging dock, is very small. The flight noise of the Black Hornet 4 is surprisingly quiet, outdoors at a distance of 10 m (~10 Yard) you can no longer hear it. Because it is so small, you can't really see it in the sky at 50 m (~55 Yard).

To prevent signal jamming, all the technical finesse currently available is used. Whether it's frequency hopping or uncrackable data encryption. If someone does manage to disrupt the Black Hornet 4 with a lot of effort, it will intelligently return to the operator, not in a straight line.
