ANDRES INDUSTRIES:
Berlin technology for Berlin police.
12/10/2024

The Berlin-based ANDRES INDUSTRIES AG has won several tenders for night vision and thermal imaging goggles and targeting devices for the Berlin Police. Currently, the first devices are being delivered. Devices from the TigIR and PumIR series for mounting on weapons, as well as TILO for attachment to the operational helmet for use as a thermal imaging goggle, have been procured for a wide range of applications.

For the first time, the PumIR series is also being used in larger numbers – above in the picture: MCX of the SEK-Berlin. The intuitive operation allows for a quick transfer to operational readiness. The device stands out in that it can also be used in front of a reflex sight, both with and without a downstream magnifier. It is also possible to increase the detection range from 2000m to 4000m using the optionally upstreamed Afocallens, without the need to adjust the zeroing for this purpose.

The devices are not only developed by ANDRES INDUSTRIES in Berlin, but also manufactured on site. There is an intensive exchange between users and developers, which is an important prerequisite for the company's innovative product developments. The company's thermal imaging technology is considered a leader in compactness and low weight, both in the military and in police special units.

The latest variants of TigIR, TILO, and PumIR have a thermal resolution of <15mK, which provides significant advantages in poor visibility conditions. They are currently unique in the western military alliance system.
