At the Gearbauern at Lindnerhof

06/17/2015By Redaktion

The view from Lenggries into the Bavarian mountains is not to be underestimated. However, the employees of Lindnerhof-Taktik GmbH don't have much time to enjoy it. The company specializes in the production and development of clothing, modular carrying systems, protective vests, and tactical equipment. The order books are full, keeping founders and managing directors Josef Sixt and Tim Vetter very busy.

xLHT Cutterraum_2For almost ten years, the specialist company has been on the market. What started in 2006 at the home kitchen table has now become a healthy medium-sized company with over 30 employees and a 1,600 square meter administration and production building.

"Locally produced, globally in use" - that's the motto of the company. The demand for high-quality products for tactical use continues to be very high. The secret is explained by Tim Vetter: "The founder was a soldier in a German special forces unit. He knows what is needed for tactical operations."

The quality and finesse of the products quickly convinced his comrades at the base. A success story had begun.

Today, almost ten years later, Lindnerhof-Taktik products are an integral part of many European special operations units, armed forces, police, and authorities.

xLHT Hochlager_4To have a broader offering, products from manufacturers like the US backpack manufacturers Mystery Ranch and Eberlestock, shoes from Salomon Forces, outdoor clothing from Arc'teryx, or Carinthia are also distributed through their own webshop (www.HQG.de).

To ensure things don't get boring in the future, Josef Sixt is constantly developing his products. This year, a complete line of ultralight hybrid laminate with camouflage print, according to TL, will be launched. About 40% lighter than previous conventionally manufactured products.

Taking a moment to enjoy the view of the beautiful mountain landscape will be increasingly rare for the specialists from Lenggries in the future.
