Australiens neues AUG

11/11/2014By Redaktion
In Australia, the Soldier Modernisation Programme (Land 125) is underway and the Ministry of Defence has commissioned a "Low Rate Initial Production" of the F90 from Lithgow Arms - a subsidiary of Thales Australia. This is the improved version of the Austeyr EF-88 assault rifle, the Down-Under variant of the Austrian Steyr Army Universal Rifle (AUG). The F90 boasts a weight reduction to 3.25 kg, achieved through changes to the housing and bolt.
