SQUAD aims to be a particularly realistic game. Above in the video you get a first impression of the game, which started as 1.0 a few days ago. SQUAD focuses on the squad level and each individual player counts. Weapon effectiveness and tactics are essential. HERE is an introduction on how to start as a "Grunt."

The current map is called "Fallujah" and is set in the Iraqi city in the "Sunni Triangle." In 2016, there were intense battles here between Americans and Iraqi insurgents. The authentic approach of SQUAD brings the urban combat to life in a frightening way. The map can accommodate 100 players. So, future full battles in SQUAD will be with 50 players against 50.
