Corporate renaming: Everything is now called KNDS

It is one of the big "Raider is now Twix" moments in the defense industry: KNDS, one of the leading European manufacturers of military land systems based in Amsterdam, formally renamed its subsidiaries Nexter Systems S. A. and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG with effect from April 8, 2024.

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG is now operating as KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, Nexter Systems S. A. as KNDS France S. A..

As part of these renaming processes, the names of the German, French, British, Italian, and Belgian subsidiaries of KNDS France and KNDS Deutschland have also been legally adjusted. For all other subsidiaries of the group, the name changes will be completed by the end of 2024.

In June 2023, the previous brand names had already been replaced by the brand "KNDS". The legal name changes required special coordination with authorities, customers, and suppliers. Therefore, they were implemented in a second step.
