SKYDIO – rapidly deployed for US Army

SKYDIO has fulfilled their first order under the U.S. Army's Short Range Reconnaissance (SRR) Tranche 2 program with the delivery of X10D sUAS (small, unmanned aircraft systems). The X10D is the only such system delivered to date as part of Tranche 2 of the U.S. Army’s SRR Program of Record.

With this order, SKYDIO equipped a U.S. Army Transforming in Contact unit preparing for imminent deployment with hundreds of X10D aircraft systems. The X10D drones will provide essential intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to the unit, enhancing operational effectiveness and situational awareness in contested environments.

SKYDIO’s manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA is one of the world’s largest drone manufacturing facilities outside of China, and all the company's drones are designed, assembled, and supported in the United States. The company has also now delivered drones to every branch of the US DoD, as well as the armed forces of twenty-five allied nations. Visit them in person during SOF Week 2025 at booth #512.
