The Range Shirt by NORARM

The short-sleeved Range Shirt is part of the Range collection from NORARM, which consists of various shirts and a pair of pants. At the beginning of the year, we had the opportunity to introduce the Range Shirt Long Sleeve in a review, and now that the days are longer and warmer, we are making use of the short-sleeve version from NORARM.

Right up front we realized that this is an extremely comfortable Shirt, perfect for everyday life, training, work, and of course for the shooting range.

The shirt is made from a blend of 83% nylon and 17% spandex, providing the ideal balance between durability and comfort. It’s sturdy enough for demanding use yet lightweight and comfortable, making it suitable for everyday wear.

The Range Shirt can be worn alone, as part of a layering system, or under a plate carrier. 

It features Velcro sections on both shoulders for ID and / or morale patches.

The NORARM Range Shirt is equipped with an elevated collar in the neck area, optimized for working with rifle slings. This effectively reduces undesirable friction and annoying chafing.

The V-neck provides optimal freedom of movement, leaving the neck area free and avoiding pressure points.

The Range Shirt is extremely robust and withstands stress. We evaluated it extensively across a variety or terrains and conditions, and it proved to be very reliable.

The friction of the Range Shirt on the rope created a pilling effect. However, this did not affect the reliability of the shirt in any way.

The Range Shirt has a special material composition. It is made from a breathable and quick-drying warp-knit fabric. This ensures excellent breathability.

The material dries quickly and effectively wicks moisture away. This guarantees a pleasantly dry experience even during intense activities. During the SPARTAN RACE of 10 km, which took place on a very hot day, this was a very pleasant effect.

Conclusion

The Range Shirt from NORARM is a shirt that stands out for its functionality and design. We fully loaded and utilized the Range Shirt with a plate carrier during a 10 km SPARTAN RACE. At no time was there an uncomfortable wearing sensation or friction on the skin. Thanks to the quick-drying fabric, it remained comfortable to wear even after multiple water uses. Even during later sports activities and deployments, the quality of the Range Shirt was evident.
