UF PRO P-40 Blu-Flex Tactical Jeans

05/09/2025By Redaktion

Who wears the pants here? That's one of the most important questions there is. Well: we do, of course. – And because we like to dress casually, we prefer jeans. There are already some tactical jeans that cater to our lifestyle and the readiness of others. UF PRO has stepped it up and landed the P-40 Blu-Flex Tactical Jeans last year. We wear them regularly.

This is the legwear in full view: from the front and back, it looks like a pair of jeans. Aside from a few heavy seams, so far so inconspicuous.

But you can always be mistaken. Or as my mother used to say: it's the inner values that count. The P-40 Blu-Flex belongs to the pants that sit a bit higher and slide down less when squatting. We find that very good, even if we don’t carry an IWB holster. (Bluegun from the SPARTANAT 3D Lab).

What holds the world together? Well, here everything good is combined: a hook, a Canadian button, and a zipper hide your best part.

Belt loops are included. The Blu-Flex likes it wide.

And here you can tell the tactical manufacturer; the loops are designed like those on combat pants. This means you can loop the inner belt normally, and wear the battle belt with gear on top, secured with the clipped outer loops.

And here there are two positions: a thin and thick gun belt fit.

View of the well-placed pocket configuration: The knife pocket doesn’t have any reinforcement; it doesn’t need it because the fabric isn’t too thin. The "tactical" aspect of these jeans is, of course, that they have two "magazine pockets" that can fit AR15 magazines on the right and left of the backside. Very practical.

Let’s quickly jump out of the pants; then we can see the pocket configuration from the inside. The large black patch top right is the regular pocket, where the tag from UF PRO is sewn in. Next to it, the rectangular black stretch is the magazine pocket. It’s so snug that it holds the magazine and prevents it from popping out when you might need to run. Interesting is the mesh next to it, which is sewn in on the body side, where the back pocket is located. With its holes, it is supposed to function as "air conditioning" because it is assumed that wearers of tactical jeans lead a more active lifestyle.

This is how deep the front pocket goes. And on the spread fingers, you can see very well how flexible the Blu-Flex material is, which has good elastane in the fabric.

As discussed: always carrying two magazines on your person can be inconspicuously very practical. Of course, it's always in professional 30s and not civilian 10s. Who needs those anyway…

Just pressed on it briefly. With the flexible fabric, the AR15 magazines fit well deep inside.

Solid pocket applied. Here too, we stretch it to see the depth of the pocket well.

View of the waistband from the back. Here, the manufacturers haven’t hesitated to immortalize the UF PRO logo.

The knees. Completely inconspicuous. Except for the two large seams. Did it really need that? We don’t know…

Something is hidden behind it anyway. The secret of the pants is that the wearer can insert knee protectors. They are available separately

Pants down, and the tube turned inside out: this is what it looks like from the inside. Sewn mesh, and from the bottom, the protector is inserted through a gap. This works and feels good to wear. But switching spontaneously is not possible. You can't access it through the tube; it’s too narrow. So you always have to take the pants off to switch. But that’s what an inconspicuous knee protection is for, which is really valuable if you belong to those who have to work on their knees.

Lower end, view from the inside: looks like jeans. As mentioned, there is no access to the knee compartment…

And here is the finish. As civilian as it can get.

P-40 Blu-Flex delivers on its promises; it is wonderfully flexible and thus extremely comfortable to wear. The fit is sporty and close to the body, which we also appreciate.

CONCLUSION: UF PRO has created a pair of jeans that, whether "tactical" or not, is an excellent pair of pants. They are great, somewhat fitted, but the flexible fabric makes them an extremely comfortable piece of clothing that you would want to wear all the time. The tactical features are practical for anyone who needs to go to the range. Great jeans for personal use and for deployment.

The UF PRO P-40 Blu-Flex Tactical Jeans can be purchased directly from the manufacturer or from any retailers that carry UF PRO for 159 Euros.
