Rheinmetall: Cooperation for vehicle-mounted C4I systems

Rheinmetall and the Greek company Intracom Defense have agreed on a close cooperation in the field of vehicle-related C4I systems.

Both companies will coordinate their activities for joint development and marketing of a vehicle-based C4I system to address domestic and international markets together. Both partners complement each other's competencies ideally: while Rheinmetall Electronics focuses on communication between vehicle and command level with leadership and communication systems, Intracom Defense is a globally recognized specialist in on-board communication systems that enable communication among crew members.

Specifically, the agreed collaboration combines Rheinmetall's tactical management system TacNet and expertise in soldier systems and C4ISTAR applications with Intracom Defense's WiSPRevo communication and information system as well as their experience in vehicle communication systems.

As part of this cooperation, Rheinmetall and Intracom Defense will combine their technological, production, and commercial capabilities to offer operationally outstanding, user-friendly, and cost-efficient C4I solutions for military vehicles – always to the benefit of the customer.
