German tanks in London? That can happen quickly - with a friendship visit. We were at the DSEI 2017 fair in London for you and in addition to the individual reports, here is a quick tour through part of the extensive exhibition. The one above, by the way, is the MBT ATD from Rheinmetall - the "Advanced Technology Demonstrator", showing what is possible with and behind the Leopard tank. Visually, Rheinmetall has certainly taken London by storm: you can see the Boxer in Union Jack in full action in a video on our Facebook page as well. More from Rheinmetall HERE.
Heckler & Koch are showcasing their classic program. They have once again played with the British assault rifle. We reported on it HERE.
In London, you can do some exploring. STIDD are showcasing a Diver Propulsion Device (DPD) indoors. More information HERE.
The AW Hero comes from Italy. This flying eye is from Leonardo - More info HERE.
Hägglunds are an endless topic. They always come in something new, like this one. If you want a used one for yourself, they can help you HERE.
In between, there is always something to see that someone has messed up. We told you not to do that...
Someone came with the plane and parked it here too...
Nice paint job on the Gripen Aggressor. It's designed for air combat training as an aggressor. With its hammer, it will bring the others down from the sky. HERE, Saab tells you more about it.
Saab not only flies, but also brings things down from the air from the ground. There is a Vehicle Integrated Camo System to see, the camouflage for the car. HERE is Saab at DSEI.
There are sharp things for sharp shooters to see as well. The MRAD is basically the "small caliber" from Barrett - HERE you can find all the info about the weapon.
Infantrymen need the future. We are sure that it is secured in the near future. To ensure the equipment is right, there is also the Future Infantryman (IDZ) in full glory in London, albeit somewhat static. More IDZ on SPARTANAT.
At the KMW stand, the Boxer has shed its colorful appearance and shows modular power. When hungry, the machine is fed by RUAG. More about the Boxer HERE.
Paint jobs are always in demand, if they officially offered them at DSEI, we would suggest.
