Sharp: Hunting commandos from Extrema Ratio

08/23/2017By Redaktion

The Jagdkommando of the Austrian Armed Forces is already a sharp thing in itself, but this is almost even more so. Extrema Ratio, the master knife makers from Italy, have released two blades on the market that not only bear the name of the special forces from Wiener Neustadt. The coat of arms of the Jagdkommando is placed on both knives, they were also developed with people from the Jako. We will present the two gems in detail soon, but here's a teaser:

The TASK-J (left) is a full-fledged operational knife, it comes with a sheath with leg straps, which can also be protectively closed with a flap (who wants to lose an ER ...). The design corresponds to the high aesthetics of Extrema Ratio. Also included is an integrated fire steel. Survival in the field is everything... HERE is the TASK-J.

The GLAUCA J1 (right) is a heavy-duty folder. The blade can be locked in the open position. Integrated into the knife are a belt cutter and a glass breaker. The blade has a small serrated section in front of the guard for extremely efficient cutting of ropes. Glauca J1 comes with a Kydex sheath that can be attached to MOLLE, so the knife can be securely kept ready for use on the armor. It can also be folded with a clip and used as a classic pocket knife. HERE is the Glauca J1.
