The transport PIRANHA is coming

General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) has expanded the PIRANHA family with the PIRANHA Heavy Mission Carrier "HMC." With a permissible total weight of up to 40 tons and a payload of 17 tons, the PIRANHA HMC represents the top end of the most successful wheeled armored vehicle family.

The vehicle features the most advanced propulsion and suspension technology, such as the 10x10
all-wheel drive train and the unique Multi-Link suspension system with steering of the first,
second, as well as the fourth and fifth axles. The design ensures minimal axle loads in accordance with
European road traffic regulations, superior off-road capability and
crossing of trenches, as well as a turning radius reduced to less than 18 meters.
With the 10x10 PIRANHA Heavy Mission Carrier, the company meets the increasing demand for
highly mobile platforms for ever more demanding mission profiles and the urgent
requirements from NATO and international customers for military mobility.

The PIRANHA vehicle family represents the most successful wheeled armored vehicle in the Western world with more than 12,000 vehicles in over 20 user nations. In addition to the common 8x8, there are also
configurations with drive formulas 4x4, 6x6, and 10x10 as well as amphibious variants in use.
