Night vision devices are great, but thermal imaging devices can be even better. The best, of course, is both working together. To that end, we got ourselves a small, compact thermal imaging device, the YM 2.0 by INFIRAY.
To clear up the confusion right away, the INFIRAY YM 2.0 is sold under various names. Whether INFIRAY, FLUFFY, IRAY or JERRY, it is always the same device with the same accessories and functions.
Here's what's included:
So everything you need to attach the YM 2.0 either to a helmet or a weapon is included.
It uses standard, readily available, 18650 batteries, which are not included. The operation is relatively simple and the device has a lot of features to offer, which we will show you exactly in the upcoming review.
What we really like is that it can record photos and videos to an internal memory, which is very useful - especially for us to be able to show you the quality of imagery that the device provides.
Our first impression is very positive - especially as the price-performance ratio is really very good. If you are already convinced and have the budget to spare, the INFIRAY YM 2.0 is available at LUNOX for €2,880 (excluding tax!). Not cheap, but relatively inexpensive in comparison to high-end devices from the big names.
