The Terminator as tank support

12/21/2015By Redaktion

The fact that tanks are extremely vulnerable combat vehicles is well known. That's why they should not be deployed separately from tank grenadiers who protect them. But the dangers increase on the battlefield: helicopters, anti-tank missiles like the TOW, vehicles with anti-tank capabilities. To counter all of these, the Russian BMPT Terminator - built on the chassis of the T-90 - is intended to be used. It travels in a pack with the attacking tanks and specifically deals with emerging threats. The BMPT has not been introduced to the Russians. HERE you can find more information about the concept.
