The assault rifle from the 3D printer
11/04/2024

There are still strange things out there. No, this is not a storm rifle from 1944. It is a Frankenstein from 2024: parts of real weapons - here an AR system - and a housing from a 3D printer plus a 40s Magpul magazine make something that looks like a coveted storm rifle 44.

And so the manufacturers say: "Introducing the Sturmgewehr-556 (S) from Developer Stubbs, hitting beta at BLC! This amazing project was completely inspired by the STG-44 and is a 1:1 functioning replica besides a few AR-15 parts (everything else is accurate to the build). This model uses a similar field strip to the original STG-44 has a custom FRT for the project and is available in .223/5.56, 300BLK, 7.62x39, and 9x39 if you can find the ammo and parts!"

Here you can see other models from the printer. One is a variant of AR15, the other one likely in 9mm with parts and magazine from a CZ Evo.
