IWA 2019: This is how sharp Pohl Force is

A fixed star in our sky are the knives from POHL Force. At IWA 2019 we visited their booth and got our hands on the latest innovations.

The new Force Three/Four series skillfully combines proven features from more than 11 years of POHL Force and yet remains open to new ideas. For the first time, a flipper system was integrated as a blade opening aid in the design. Both models also take completely new paths in terms of size.

The larger knife is the Force Three with a blade length of 10.5 cm, it is a true all-rounder and suitable for both tactical use and outdoor activities.

The Force Four, on the other hand, with a blade length of 8 cm is the perfect everyday carry in your pocket. Small, compact, yet not to be underestimated. D2 steel provides the necessary edge retention. CNC-machined G10 handle scales ensure a secure grip in use. Each knife comes with a lanyard and a practical collector's bag. Force Three/Four - available in two versions.

With the Romeo Upgrade model, designer Dietmar Pohl fulfills a long-cherished wish for a successor to the legendary Romeo One. With a 6mm thick blade made of Niolox steel and a cavity in the handle, the functionality and value of the materials have been further improved. CNC-machined G10 handle scales. Kydex® sheath with belt adapter. Includes lanyard, handle key, and collector's bag. Available in two versions:

MK7 - Developed as a prototype for a movie, it should not be missing from any collection with a numbered and limited edition of only 200 pieces. With a matte sandblasted surface, black G10 scales, and Flat Dark Earth Kydex® sheath.

It is already a tradition of Pohl Force to equip successful models with the popular Tanto blade. Solid and sturdy, the Niolox Tanto blade also handles heavier loads. All other features of the Mike Five series have been adopted. This includes the IKBS Ball Bearing System, the finely rounded stainless steel liners, the left or right screw-on pocket clip, and the glass breaker for extreme emergency situations. Handles made of robust G-10 (black).

The MK2 (below) - the name already reveals it: this knife was also provided by Pohl Force for a movie. It was desired to have a knife that should be tactically black but still have a wooden handle. With a limited and numbered total edition of only 100 pieces, it is part of the smallest special edition ever offered by Pohl Force.

As a folding knife for outdoor use, the Mike Five model with Lock Back lock has gained a loyal following over many years.

Now the Mike Five is being discontinued and will be newly released in a limited series of only 300 pieces per model for the loyal Pohl Force knife fan. This time in a tactical variant with matte sandblasted surfaces and robust G10 handle scales in Groove Style. In the handle colors black, olive, or brown, it fits every scenario. The blade is, as usual, made of high-quality Niolox steel. Of particular interest: after sandblasting, each blade is satinized on the upper side, subtly emphasizing the high-quality character of the Mike Five. The glass breaker at the end of the handle effortlessly breaks window glass in emergency situations. Included in the delivery is a lanyard and a practical collector's bag.
