ENFORCE TAC & IWA 2022: Lindnerhof Tactical Combat Suit Closer Look

03/08/2022By Redaktion

Uniforms, uniforms, uniforms... Suddenly this became a big topic among leading manufacturers and newcomers. Number one comes from Bavaria, somehow. At this year's Enforce Tac and IWA, the new uniform from Lindnerhof Taktik could be admired. We don't want to withhold that from you, of course.

Combat Shirt

At first glance, the Combat Shirt looks like one from the UF PRO Striker series. This is not necessarily wrong. Since Lindnerhof Taktik and UF PRO now both belong to Mehler Vario System, sharing is welcome.

The fabric of the shirt is flame-resistant, thanks to Cordura PYRO. This material can be recognized by the small knobs.

The upper arm pockets are almost identical to those of the Stryker set. The UF PRO typical bite loop has been omitted.

The shoulder is constructed as seam-free as possible.

The stand-up collar is equipped with Velcro points. A hood or breacher hood can be attached to it.

A breathable, flame-retardant fabric is sewn under the armpit and on the flank.

An underarm pocket has been omitted and the cuff adjustment is done in a classic way with Velcro.

If you want, you can insert an elbow pad. Overall, the combat shirt from Lindnerhof Taktik is very straightforward and extremely functional.

The Pants

With the pants, at first we thought: "Ah, a Striker pants", but upon a second look, we noticed all the differences.

You should recognize them by the integrated belt system. Only the UF PRO logo is missing.

Compared to the Striker ULT - HERE in the SPARTANAT review - the Lindnerhof Taktik combat pants have two small, attached thigh pockets.

The small thigh pockets are Velcroed and in the large main pocket you will find the buttoned elastic band for height adjustment of the knee area.

Even the main pocket is Velcroed. Inside, there is a compartment for a magazine and two rubber loops. If you want, you can un-Velcro the tab to access the contents more quickly.

The pocket offers a separation, just like the Striker ULT.

What is really different is the knee pad construction. This now accommodates Crye-style knee pads.

Thanks to some openings, other knee pad models are also possible, such as the small, lightweight ones from Arcteryx. The adjustment in width is easily solved with Velcro. This has already proven itself with Crye models.

The various knee pads can be inserted via the zipper.

The pants from the back. What is also noticeable is the absence of zippers on the lower leg.

Even at the waist, a simpler system is used, compared to UF PRO: a drawstring with integrated gaiter.

The belt loops have also been slightly simplified compared to the UF PRO Striker.

Overall, the Lindnerhof Taktik combat suit offers many coherent features and solutions. The gear builders at Lindnerhof have, so to speak, turned UF PRO from head to toe and simplified many things that UF PRO likes to play with. We really like what we have seen.
