What is the most exclusive uniform in Austria? No, not a white dress uniform worn only for appointments with the Federal President, nor an experimental suit from army development. The rarest uniform of the army comes from CARINTHIA. It was "leaked" by a British specialist journalist who saw members of the Jagdkommando wearing it during an appearance in Jordan. The Jagdkommando has recently switched to CARINTHIA Combat Uniforms - read the review HERE in the SPARTANAT Review. Consequently, we initially thought it was simply this new Multicam Arid uniform.

But it's not. Quietly and discreetly, the combat suit stands at ENFORCE TAC 2023. Remarkable precisely because it is the procured Multicam Arid uniform (Combat Shirt Multicam Arid & Field Trousers Multicam Arid) of the Jagdkommando, but also because the manufacturer CARINTHIA, who normally makes "Cold Gear," is venturing into hot climates here. The combat suit is optimized in fabric and cut for hot countries. The Jagdkommando is always on the move internationally - from Afghanistan to Africa.

Taking a closer look at the shirt: High collar equipped with needle fleece for better moisture management and a lightweight, breathable fabric with Merino wool on the body so it doesn't get too hot.

The neckline is also designed with this in mind.

Interesting Velcro division on the upper arm, plus a zippered upper arm pocket.

Interesting solutions also in the pants. It has an integrated belt with G-Hook that can be removed if you opt for a proper Riggers Belt.

The belt loops are made of strap material. The small loop above is the attachment for suspenders.

The thigh pockets are located on the front of the thigh. The zipper is concealed by a flap.

The "air conditioning" is built into the thighs. With the zipper, the wearer can regulate the internal climate with airflow.

At the lower end, there is an integrated gaiter solution.

Closes with Velcro straps. Because sand can render Velcro ineffectual - it retains the sand but no longer adheres - three snap buttons also secure the adjustment. Overall, an impressive and efficient "tropical uniform" from CARINTHIA for use in arid areas.
