Some things are making a comeback: stripper clips in pistols – without a magazine. This reminds us of the old Austrian Roth-Steyr M1907 or the Mauser C-96. And then there's the SHOT Show 2025: There's the Kel-Tec PR57, which was introduced at the SHOT Show 2025 and is said to be a lightweight pistol for everyday use. It has a caliber of 5.7x28 mm – like the FN P90 – and a top-loading design with a capacity of 20+1 rounds, making conventional magazines unnecessary. In plain language: the stripper clip from the M1907 and C-96 is back. TFB's James Reeves exclusively introduces the weapon in this video. HERE you can find all the data on the PR57 directly from the manufacturer.
