Years ago, SPUHR was contacted by a well-known Special Forces unit in need of a mount for an Aimpoint with two individual zero distances. The weapon was in caliber .300 blk, which needed to shoot both subsonic and supersonic ammunition. After some attempts with adjustable options, this simple solution emerged, simply mounting two Aimpoints one after the other.
One point for Subsonic and the second for normal ammunition. When changing the magazine, you just need to turn off one red dot and switch on the other. Sometimes the world can be that simple. Unfortunately, this mount never made it to the market. The customer also did not want two Aimpoints, but only one that could be zeroed quickly.
