New service weapon for the Canadian Army: The Canadian government announced on Friday the award of a $3.2 million USD contract to equip the Canadian Army with new pistols and holsters. M.D. Charlton Co. Ltd. from Victoria, B.C., has been awarded the contract to supply the SIG Sauer P320. The Canadian Armed Forces will refer to the new service weapon as the C22. Another SIG success: just a few days ago, the Australians also announced that they had chosen a P320 variant. HERE is the link directly to the P320.
