The GALVION Batlskin VIPER helmet has been on the market since May 2014, when it was introduced as part of the expanded Batlskin Head Protection System. Since then, the company has supplied over one million helmets to several countries, including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, and the UK.
At the recent IDEX trade show it was announced that 35,000 Batlskin head systems, comprising the VIPER A1 Special Edition and PDxT variants, were ordered by Armed Forces and security services in the Middle East region.
The VIPER A1 Special Edition is a high-cut ACH shaped aramid helmet in coyote brown color, with a custom camo helmet cover and bespoke helmet bag. The Battlskin PDxT platform is battle-proven geometry with an ACH-front, smooth ear transition and a ridged back. Both helmet systems feature the customizable, comfort-fit Modular Suspension System (MSS), which is designed to maximize comfort, stability, air circulation, and protection during extended periods of wear.
