Far-sightedness? So important. – No wonder THALES was also represented at the 9th KSK Symposium. Among other things, the Infantry Radar Ground Observation Radar GO12 was on display. The ground surveillance radar is here – infantry-friendly – on the back of a THeMIS UGV from MILREM ROBOTICS at KNDS. There's not much to carry. However, even without such aids, GO12 is practical: it weighs 16 kilos and is carried into the field by a team – the GHOSTHOOD video below illustrates this.
GO12 is also in use in Ukraine. The small device can detect infantry up to 16 kilometers away, vehicles up to 26 kilometers away, and is not limited to observation only – the team can also direct artillery fire. ALL INFORMATION about the GO12 directly from THALES.
