ELBIT SYSTEMS UK with their subsidiary INSTRO won a contract uplift in October 2024 to provide additional XACT nv33 compact Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) to the British Armed Forces. The contract, worth £16 million, will see a phased rollout of the systems to the British Armed Forces. INSTRO has already delivered over 3,500 NVGs to the UK Armed Forces. The XACT nv33 allows British Armed Forces personnel to effectively operate in low and no-light situations.

The compact XACT nv33 NVGs are supplied in the helmet-mounted configuration and offer the end user extended battery life, reduced size, weight, and improved image quality – providing operators better threat detection and situational awareness in low-light and no-light conditions.
