Surprisingly, Crye Precision announced that their new Minimalist Plate Carrier will be available as early as March. The small plate carrier is designed to be as minimalistic as possible while still offering as many features as possible. Interestingly, it was not presented at SHOT 2019, but two weeks later. An elastic cummerbund with integrated radio/magazine pockets, as well as MOLLE front with hook and loop Velcro provide the necessary options to expand the plate carrier when needed. Crye is jumping on a trend that Ferro Concepts, Perroz Designs, and Spiritus Systems have been successfully following for a while.
