Camouflage is half the battle. The other half is lifestyle and to show who's the man. Multicam makes the man on the battlefield a magnificent sight. For your city expeditions two years ago, there was a limited edition of these Pampa Hi Multicam shoes from traditional shoe manufacturer Palladium. It was one of the first to jump on the camo shoe trend. With some luck, you might still find a pair.
Palladium has always been one of our favorite shoe manufacturers: not only because this shoe was originally invented as a desert boot for the French Foreign Legion. Palladiums are simply minimalist: rubber sole, shoe and upper made of canvas. Not waterproof, but airy. On the right, a classic Palladium, on the left the result of a collaboration between Palladium and Crye Precision. The same shoe in Multicam.
First, let's look at the foundation, which is a good rubber sole that can handle asphalt and terrain and provides grip with chunky lugs. Nothing has changed on the Pampa Hi in this regard, the color of the sole for the Multicam Edition is a dark brown, derived from the brown spots in the Multicam pattern.
The same color is also on the laces. And there is a Palladium label on the tongue.
Since the Multicam boot is also made of canvas, but much thinner than the original Palladiums, the fabric has a lining - the brown color theme is also continued here.
The ankle protection with a rubber disc on the shoe is also a way to place the Palladium logo. A small Multicam tag can be seen on the front of the shoe.
There's not much to say about the leg: a true Palladium classic. Perfect. And genuine Multicam. Looks extremely tacticool.
It also comes with a large tag on the shoe confirming what we already know: genuine Multicam.
Once again, the masterpiece. And there's more: today, Multicam is four Multicams - and that's exactly what Palladium has implemented. The shoe comes in Multicam, Multicam Tropic, Multicam Black, and the arid version (currently sold out). And they all look great...
CONCLUSION: It's allegedly summer, canvas boots are ideal for the season. The Pampa Hi Multicam is an extremely tacticool boot, great to wear, and makes a subtle statement. Style can also be camouflage. And with these Palladiums, you're sure to stand out.
You can get the Palladium Pampa Hi Multicam originally directly from Palladium or from well-stocked shoe retailers. The boots cost €89.90 directly from Palladium. However, this series has already been discontinued. With some luck, you might find a pair at various shoe stores or on eBay.
