"It was dark, the moon shone bright, snow lay on the green meadow. When a car drove around the corner lightning fast. Inside, people were sitting standing, silently absorbed in conversation..." Definitely some special forces, only they do things like that. And because soon you'll also need the right equipment, a classic camouflage like the subtle Desert Night Camo is just right. ALIG INDUSTRIES offers the Small Chest Rig-Desert Night (SCR-DN).
Sweet. And looks good on us. The pattern itself experiences revivals every now and then - just like now. Before anyone asks what kind of below-average idea the developer of this camouflage had about a desert night: Outerwear in this pattern was issued to US soldiers during the first Gulf War. The pattern is optimized to camouflage against observation by lower generation night vision devices. It did not last long. But it has a high "tactical fashion" value. By the way: the material is 600d Poly, not IRR safe. Just pay attention to the squares in the pattern. - Why? Just because...
The chest rig is of course modular and can do more. On the back, it has Velcro and is sold under the name Closed Flap 223 Desert Night.
The Small Chest Rig-Desert Night (SCR-DN) also comes with a tourniquet holder. This is good, practical and fair: we attach it on the side.
And below, there is an additional fanny pack that we want to present separately below. But: first things first.
Now we already have a lot in our hands: Now we attach Velcro elements with clips to the sides.
So much scratchy Velcro on the upper body? We'd rather have a neutral wearing experience. So a mesh area with Velcro is attached. The modular, small chest rig is now complete.
Who invented it? Well, in this case not the Swiss, but that's beside the point. It's a practical and easy-to-wear solution that can also be removed again when the fanny pack moves elsewhere - see the very bottom.
So, let's get to the carriers! Here too, we clip on again.
There are MOLLE areas in laser cut attached to the shoulder straps. PTT, radio cables, drinking tubes, very useful solution.
And the side straps are also clipped onto the rig.
In the back, we have the H-solution. There is also an X variant for the carriers. Notice the dots. Yes, just because.
And this is what it looks like on the man. Among the micro rigs, this is not the smallest solution. But small is not always practical either.
